Christine
Fitness has always been a large part of Christine’s life. From a young age, you could find her partaking in variety of sports and activities. In undergrad, Christine continued her passion for fitness by teaching HIIT, Bootcamp and personal training sessions at Bucknell University. Since then, she has expanded her love for fitness, and has honed in on what fitness means in her day to day and the role it plays in her life. She stays motivated by running in long distance competitive races and tests out new forms of exercise regularly.
However, maybe like some of you- she knows the challenges of trying to stay motivated. After having her first child, Christine was at a loss for how to keep making her love for fitness a part of her life. She discovered that classes like Pilates, HIIT and Barre are what got her back on track and feeling her best!
She finds that the best kind of workouts are not only the ones that make you feel your best, but are ones you also have fun doing! Outside of class she can be found spending time with her one year old daughter, husband and mini golden retriever exploring various NJ towns.

Regina's journey began with a diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma in her youth, which ultimately redirected her life's path. Since then, she's dedicated herself to optimal health, sharing her journey and insights with others.

When not in the classroom, you'll likely find her tending to her garden, whipping up nutritious meals, or cruising down scenic trails on her bike.
Jill
Jill's love for fitness started through sports and continued into her adult life through working out sometimes in the gym but mainly outside. Jill has a passion for lifting weights and interval training with a love on the side for running, biking and really anything that allows her to get her butt outside and moving!
Jill can promise clients an upbeat class with variations of exercises and constant movement. Jill is a firm believer in trying exercises that make you stronger but also meet your body at where it is physically (she loves a good modification!). Certified in group fitness and with the love for a good hiit/interval class with some weight training mixed in. Jill has a deep, unwavering love for my one year old son, the beach, happy hour and can confidently say, she works out not only to feel like her best self, but also so she can eat as much dessert as she wants.
Juliana
Juliana always knew she wanted to be a teacher from a young age. This influenced Juliana to receive her Master’s Degree in Education from Rutgers University in 2020. Currently, she teaches Middle School English to inspire young minds with literature, as well as coaches three seasons of High School sports.
Juliana knew she wanted to extend her passion for teaching outside of the classroom, which also influenced Juliana to receive her 200hr Yoga Alliance Certification through Yoga Renew in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. She believes in the integration of spinal awareness, meditative reflection and healing music to help connect the mind, body and breath during her flows. In Juliana’s class, you can find a safe haven with one to one assistance to help you reach your individual goals.
Outside of yoga you can find Juliana eating Tapas in España, reading at a local cafe, running around town or spending time with family and friends.
Corrina
Corrina fell in love with fitness and teaching in 2013 when she taught cardio kickboxing classes at TCNJ. Since then, she's explored different workout styles to expand her practice. Her goal with each Pilates and Barre class is to get students out of their head and into their body - she has a passion for helping others feel their best through mindful movement!
Off the mat, Corrina's love for exploration extends to books and music (and she loves getting recommendations from her students!). She takes pride in her role as “dog-mom” to her lovable goldendoodle, Yoshi.
Michelle
Michelle Gerdes (RYT200, RPYT, Trauma-Informed) is a “realistic mystic,” studying ancient yoga and energy-work traditions and the science that supports them. She has taught yoga and meditation for almost a decade and focuses on yoga for mental health, prenatal/postpartum yoga and trauma-informed yoga. In addition, Michelle is a Reiki practitioner, Postpartum Doula and author of the book “Chakra Meditations to Experience and Heal.” Her classes balance the important work of self-understanding with the necessary work of self-care.
Amanda
Amanda’s fitness journey began after having her first son in 2015. Utilizing running and weight-lifting as both a tool for physical health and an outlet for “me time,” Amanda soon developed a passion for health and wellness. Already an educator of English, Amanda decided to join her love of teaching with her love of fitness and become a group fitness instructor.
As a full-time teacher and mom of three little ones, Amanda firmly believes that finding and dedicating the time to fitness can lead to physical and mental endurance in all other facets of life. Amanda is thrilled to bring empowering fitness classes to the city that she loves.
Colleen
Colleen found Buti (see class descriptions) in 2018 and became instantly obsessed. The quick pace, fun music and sweat dripping workout had her hooked from the get go so when she had the opportunity to get certified to teach in 2019, she jumped at the chance. Buti is not your mother's yoga class but any movements can be modified to suit your practice on that given day. Colleen loves sharing her passion for the movement with others.
Off of my mat, she is a mom to two wonderful girls who love to go on adventures with her. She loves to bake and also work full time managing a team of software testers.

Bri
Bri first started her yoga journey in 2015, while attending McKendree University. A former wrestling coach used to guide yoga practices after competition days, as a way to implement balance, after challenging tournaments.
After college Bri moved back to New Jersey and started taking power yoga classes for active recovery days while training and coaching powerlifting. Bri fell in love with the practice and the community, and yoga quickly became a lifestyle instead of a training tool.
Bri completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in June 2024 at Shine Power Yoga. She believes that yoga is for everyone, and became a teacher as a way to influence first responders to take care of their mental health while still taking care of their physical health.
Off the mat, you can find Bri enjoying a hike with her furbaby Porter, at the beach, or finding any excuse to go to Disney World
